Join Voices with Other San Antonians During This Beautiful Holiday Event

Celebrate the season with what is quite literally a citywide concert. On Saturday, November 24th, hundreds of voices from throughout San Antonio will come together to sing the Christmas portion of Handel's Messiah with the San Antonio Choral Society and the instrumental ensemble Sonido Barocco. If you love traditional holiday music, this event at Chapel of the Incarnate Word!

Ashley Logan, soprano; Heather Yun, mezzo-soprano; Eric Schmidt, tenor; and Joseph Herron, bass-baritone will be the featured soloists. The audience is the chorus. Bring your own score or rent one in the lobby that evening for 5 dollars.

Each year this event attracts many downtown tourists and helps raise funds for a local charity. In the past, Child Advocates San Antonio (CASA), Corazon Ministries, Inc., and the San Antonio Food Bank have been beneficiaries of this event.

General admission to the 5th Annual Charity Messiah-Sing is 25 dollars. Tickets may be purchased online.

At Oxford at Sonterra Apartments in San Antonio, Texas, we believe it’s important to integrate yourself into the community, which is why we suggest attending this event. Meeting new people, having unfamiliar experiences, and joining neighborhood activities is the key to an exceptional lifestyle.
