How to Handle Hot Peppers
When working with peppers, your best bet is to use rubber gloves to prevent the chemicals in the pepper from burning your skin. But you still need to be careful to not touch your face or eyes with your gloved hands. If you don’t like working with gloves, wash your hands well after touching hot peppers. You can also soak your hands for a few minutes in some milk to help remove more of the hot compounds.
